About Me!
My name is Kartik Prakash and I am a graduate student at Texas A&M University in Mechanical Engineering Department. I am currently working towards building robust navigation strategies for indoor autonomous robots. I have hands-on experience in imparting autonomous navigation capabilities to an otherwise manually operated electric pallet jack. Working in robotics for 1.5 years now has provided me with working knowledge in the fields of SLAM, motion planning, controls, and navigation. I have both theoretical as well as implementation-level knowledge about various filtering techniques including EKF, UKF, EnKF and Particle Filters. I always like to keep my hands occupied and have worked on numerous projects over the past few years, details of which can be found below.
